- Never Run Out of Heating Oil: One of the biggest advantages of automatic delivery is that you’ll never have to worry about running out of heating oil. Our system tracks your usage patterns and weather conditions to ensure timely deliveries. This means you can always count on a warm and comfortable home without the stress of monitoring your oil levels.
- Convenience and Peace of Mind: Automatic delivery takes the guesswork out of your heating oil supply. You won’t need to remember to place an order or keep an eye on your tank’s gauge. Our team handles everything for you, allowing you to focus on other important aspects of your life.
- Priority Service: Customers on automatic delivery often receive priority service, especially during peak heating season. This ensures that your home remains warm and cozy, even during the busiest times of the year.
Keeping a sufficient supply of heating oil on hand is part of caring for and properly maintaining your heating oil tank.
Proper heating oil tank maintenance
There is more to properly maintaining your heating oil tank than just filling it with fuel. You also need to:
- Regularly check for signs of wear and tear: This includes inspecting your tank’s supports and leg brackets for dents and rust and to make sure they are not missing, buckling or separating from the tank, checking the tank platform for cracks and looking for signs of corrosion, pitting, leaks, loose fittings and holes in the tank body, connectors and pipes.
- Call in the professionals: Sure, you can do your own visual inspection and you should! But a thorough inspection from a professional is the best way to keep up on heating oil tank maintenance. Here at Oehlert Bros. we offer a heating tank inspection that adheres to guidelines put in place by the National Oilheat Research Alliance. This also happens to be complimentary for all of our heating service plan customers!
